Information we collect

Language preference. The website remembers whether you selected English or French using local browser storage.

Messages you choose to send. Contact and trial-class buttons open your email application. Your message is sent only when you choose to send it and is then handled through the applicable email services.

Technical records. Our hosting and security providers may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested pages, and access time to deliver and protect the website.

We do not use the website to collect payment information, behavioural advertising data, or sensitive information.

03

Cookies and browser storage

The website uses no advertising, analytics, or profiling cookies. Our hosting and security providers may set strictly necessary cookies, such as a short-lived security cookie used to detect malicious traffic. The site also stores one functional preference named twins-language in your browser so it can reopen in your chosen language.

These functions are not used to follow you across websites. You can remove site data through your browser settings, although essential security cookies may be recreated when you revisit. If we later introduce non-essential tracking technology, it will remain disabled until the required information and consent choices are presented.

04

Service providers and locations

We rely on providers for website hosting, security, email delivery, and web fonts. Loading the website may transmit technical information, including an IP address, to these providers. Some providers may process information outside Québec.

We limit access to what is reasonably necessary for these services and use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information.

05

Retention and protection

Personal information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect it. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

06

Children and families

Our programs serve children, but this informational website is intended for parents, guardians, and athletes. A child under 14 should not send personal information without the involvement of a parent or guardian.

07

Your privacy rights

You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you, withdraw consent where applicable, or ask a question or make a complaint about our privacy practices. Contact the Privacy Officer using the information above. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

You may also learn more or submit a complaint to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

08

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our practices or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest version.
